Alex Murphy

Alex qualified as an occupational therapist in 2015 after spending two years working as a support worker and team leader for a case management company. Upon qualifying Alex worked in a number of roles in London and the surrounding areas both in the NHS, Local Authority and private practice. Alex is confident in holding a varied and complex caseload including those with neurological debilitating conditions and delivering a range of interventions.

Alex has a special interest in neuro rehabilitation and is passionate about maximising outcomes and supporting people to lives as independently as possible. Alex is an experienced leader who is confident in setting up care teams and providing recommendations for clients with complex needs to live as independent and fulfilling lives as possible.

Alex says: ‘I am passionate about supporting people to overcome barriers to participation so they are able to get on with life and be able to do the things that matter most to them’.

In her spare time Alex often uses this time to keep fit whether that be attending the gym, going on long walks or meal prepping. Alex also enjoys hiking and wild camping.
