George Jackson

Occupational Therapy Assistant
A Level or equivalent in Health and Social Care

George's background comes from having two siblings with acquired brain injuries which led me to work within the care/private health sector.

George has worked as a Care Manager, running multiple teams of support workers assisting clients with brain injuries within their own homes for 7 years. This experience has given George the skills to help people achieve tasks and goals that they didn't believe they could. His experience has taught him that you should try something once and that you should always take time to see how making your own adjustments may help you achieve something.

George likes to utilise the idea that everyone has their own individual way to complete a task or goal and believes it is part of his role to help that person figure it out.

In his spare time, George has a keen interest in an active lifestyle. He runs and goes the gym often and loves to spend time outdoors with his young family and dog, Benny.

George says, "I'm always looking to inspire people to push their own limitations, to achieve goals no matter how big or small they are."
