March saw us host our first 11-a-side Brain Injury Football Match at FC United, and what an amazing day it turned out to be.
At Heads Up Therapies, we were proud to organise the event and bring everyone together for a day filled with football, laughter, teamwork, and friendly competition as we took to the pitch against each other.
The day was about far more than the final score. It was an opportunity to bring people together, raise awareness around brain injury, and celebrate the determination, resilience, and community spirit of everyone involved. Seeing the support on and off the pitch made the event incredibly special for us all.
We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it and are so grateful to everyone who played,+, sponsored, supported, spectated and helped make the day such a success!
A huge thank you also goes to local photographer Ryan Bowen Photography, who stepped in at the 11th hour to help us out and captured some fantastic photos from the day. Your support was hugely appreciated and helped us preserve some brilliant memories from the event.
After such a positive response, we are already looking ahead to next year and planning how to make the event even bigger and better. We can’t wait to build on this year’s success and make it an even more memorable occasion in 2027.
